This is a national company pretending to be local and they are stealing the intellectual property of local ghost tours. They do not get permission from the establishment owners to use their properties on their website or marketing materials-.instead they steal the hard work of local tour operators and pass it off as their own.
Our local historian has spent years conducting meticulous research and working tirelessly to build his business from the ground up. It is incredibly disheartening to see IUS Ghost Adventures sweep in, steal his hard work, and attempt to pass his research off as their own. As a fellow small business owner, I refuse to stand by quietly while independent creators are exploited by corporate copycats.
